Apple Pie Yogurt Bowl & Cinnamon Crunch Granola – High Protein
There is something about a pretty breakfast that makes the whole morning feel a little more romantic. And this Apple Pie Yogurt Bowl is exactly that. Think creamy Greek yogurt, warm cinnamon-stewed apples, crunchy homemade stovetop granola, and a generous drizzle of almond butter and honey.
The little secret here is my five-minute stovetop granola. Made right in a frying pan with oats, honey, cinnamon, flaxseed, and psyllium husk, it turns golden, sticky, and perfectly crisp after a quick stint in the freezer. It’s one of those simple little extras that takes hardly any time but makes an ordinary breakfast feel a little more elevated.
Packed with protein, fibre, and all the cozy flavours of apple pie, this is a breakfast worth slowing down for. Because sometimes an extra five minutes in the morning is all it takes to make something feel special.

The homemade cinnamon granola adds the perfect crunch, while warm apples bring all the familiar flavours of apple pie. Making the Apple Pie Yogurt Bowl & Cinnamon Crunch Granola
5 Minute Stovetop Granola
Start with the granola, which is one of my favourite little breakfast tricks. Add the oats, honey, cinnamon, psyllium husk, flaxseed, sea salt, and filtered water to a frying pan over medium-high heat. Stir constantly for about five minutes, until the mixture becomes golden, sticky, and fragrant. Transfer the granola mixture to a plate and press it into a thin disc. Pop it into the freezer while you prepare the apples. Once cooled, it will crisp up beautifully and break into little clusters.
Prepare the Apples & Assemble
Dice your apple into small pieces and add to a frying pan with a little water, cinnamon, and a drizzle of honey. Cook until softened and lightly caramelized, adding a splash more water if needed. cook on medium high heat, stirring constantly.
To assemble, add a generous scoop of Greek yogurt to your favourite bowl. You can also mix in your favourite vanilla protein powder for an extra protein boost. Spoon over the warm stewed apples, then break up your crispy homemade granola and sprinkle it generously over the top. Finish with a tablespoon of almond butter, a drizzle of honey, flaky sea salt, and any additional nuts or seeds you’d like. Serve immediately while the apples are still warm.
This is your reminder that breakfast doesn’t have to be complicated to feel special. A few extra minutes at the stovetop, the smell of cinnamon filling the kitchen, and a pretty little bowl of something nourishing. It’s the everyday rituals that make the morning feel a little more beautiful.
And honestly, I’ll take a warm apple pie yogurt bowl over a rushed breakfast any day.
