Fall Favourites – Flavour, Fall & Fabulous

There is something about fall that makes everything feel a little more chic. The sweaters get softer, the tables get moodier, the candles get warmer, and suddenly everything coming out of the oven feels like an occasion. Fall is my favourite season for cooking because the flavours do so much of the work. Cinnamon, chai, pumpkin, brown butter, caramel, apples, sourdough—these are ingredients that don’t need much embellishment. They feel nostalgic but still beautiful.

I love finding ways to make classic fall recipes feel a little more elevated, a little more Chic & Clean. Made free of any refined sugars, processed ingredients, seed oils, or any garbage like that. Intentionally & beautifully made to be chic on the outside and clean on the inside.

So, consider this my fall recipe wardrobe: a collection of cozy bakes, golden breads, nostalgic desserts, and a few sweet little things to keep on hand. Everything is simple, unfussy, and made to be shared. Flavourful, fabulous, and very much dressed for the season.

Pumpkin Spice Chocolate Chip Cookies

My famous chocolate chip cookies get their fall makeover. These are soft, chewy, and loaded with pumpkin, warm cinnamon, and plenty of dark chocolate chunks. They have everything you want from a classic chocolate chip cookie, with that unmistakable pumpkin-spice warmth that makes them feel especially right for September and October. Consider these the fall wardrobe of my signature cookie.

Salted Caramel Apple Bliss Balls

All the flavours of a cozy fall dessert, tucked into the tiniest little bite. These salted caramel apple bliss balls combine sweet apple, warm fall spices, and a rich salted caramel flavour for an easy little treat to keep in the fridge. They’re perfect for an afternoon pick-me-up, a post-dinner sweet, or simply when you want something that tastes like fall without turning on the oven.

Salted Caramel Brownie Cookies

Imagine the richest brownie and your favourite chocolate chip cookie meeting somewhere in the middle. These cookies are deeply chocolatey, fudge-y in the centre, and finished with pools of salted caramel for that perfect sweet-and-salty moment. They’re the kind of cookie that belongs on a little plate beside your afternoon coffee—or straight from the baking sheet while they’re still warm.

Sourdough Pie Crust

A proper pie deserves a proper crust. This sourdough pie crust is buttery, flaky, and wonderfully golden, with that subtle tang that makes sourdough so special. It’s the foundation for all the beautiful pies of the season and one of those recipes you’ll want tucked away for every fall to come. You will never catch me baking a pie without this pie crust and that is a promise. There is no better pie crust than sourdough pie crust.

Apple Pie

Is there anything more quintessentially fall than a homemade apple pie? This is the classic: warm cinnamon-spiced apples tucked beneath a golden, buttery crust, with that unmistakable smell that makes the entire kitchen feel like home. Serve it warm, ideally with something cold and creamy on top.

Honey Brown Butter Pumpkin Pie

Pumpkin pie, but with a little more personality. Brown butter brings a rich, nutty depth to the pumpkin filling, while honey adds a delicate natural sweetness, all nestled into that flaky sourdough crust. It’s traditional enough to feel nostalgic, but just unexpected enough to make it feel new.

Chai Latte Cupcakes

These are fall in cupcake form. Soft, tender cupcakes infused with warm chai spices and finished with a creamy frosting that makes every bite taste like your favourite café order. Think cinnamon, cardamom, cozy afternoons, and something sweet alongside a steaming latte.

Sourdough Dinner Buns

There is nothing quite like homemade bread on a fall table. These sourdough dinner buns are soft, fluffy, and golden, with that beautiful pull-apart texture that makes them impossible to resist. They’re made for Sunday dinners, Thanksgiving tables, and tearing apart with your hands while the butter is still soft.

Pumpkin Spice Olive Oil Cake with Salted Caramel Sauce

A pumpkin cake with a slightly more sophisticated point of view. Olive oil keeps this cake beautifully tender while pumpkin and warm spices bring all the flavours of fall, and the salted caramel sauce takes it somewhere decidedly decadent. It’s the kind of cake that looks effortless on a table but feels like a little event.

Cinnamon Sugar Crumble Banana Bread

Your classic banana bread gets a fall wardrobe change. Soft, warmly spiced banana bread is topped with a buttery cinnamon-sugar crumble that bakes into the most irresistible golden topping. It’s cozy, nostalgic, and exactly the sort of loaf you want sitting on the counter when the weather turns crisp.

Sweet & Salty Chai Spice Granola Bars

For something a little less dessert and a little more everyday, these chai spice granola bars are the answer. Warm chai spices meet a sweet-and-salty combination in a chewy, satisfying bar that’s perfect for throwing in your bag, pairing with coffee, or keeping around for those mid-afternoon moments when you need a little something.

Salted Brownie Energy Balls

Yes, I absolutely think these belong in the roundup. Fall isn’t only about pies and cakes, and these are the perfect little chocolate moment to balance everything else. Rich, fudge-y, and finished with a touch of sea salt, they taste like a brownie but have that easy grab-and-go quality that makes them perfect for keeping in the fridge all season.

A Little More Fall, Please

These are the recipes I have on repeat when the air gets cooler and the kitchen becomes the coziest room in the house. A little brown butter here, a little cinnamon there, something bubbling in the oven, something cooling on the counter.

Fall, but make it flavourful. And fabulous. & Always chic & clean
