It’s almost Valentine’s day which means I’m simply obsessing over all things heart shaped and these Cinnamon Sugar Heart Pastries are starting off my love for Valentine’s Day and I couldn’t be more in loveeeeeee with them! They’re so dainty, elegant, cute and most importantly delicious! The dough is thinly rolled so its soft but golden browned, a little flakey but still gooey with cinnamon sugar! The heart shaped look is so perfect, I don’t think I’ve loved a pastry this much ever! These cinnamon sugar heart pastries are simple to make and so worth it! They are the perfect addition to a Galentine’s celebration, a Valentine’s Brunch, or for dessert, I can’t wait to make them again for those! I of course had to make mine with sourdough dough, but you could use any dough/ pastry dough recipe and it will still be absolutely delicious! I love the health benefits and the taste of using sourdough in my baking that’s pretty much all I use when it comes to baking! It totally enhances flavour and richness in your baking!
