Ingredients
16fresh strawberries
1 ½cupdark chocolate chips if using less or more strawberries use chocolate accordingly
2tbspcoconut oil
1/3 cupcoconut milk coconut milk not cream *
flakey sea salt for topping
Instructions
Wash and prep all your strawberries. I use sliced halves around the edges and full ones to cover the middle for the beautiful strawberry look at the end! Start by lining a small baking dish with parchment paper, then layer your sliced strawberries around the edges and your full ones in the middle.
Melt the dark chocolate chips with coconut oil in a small pot or double boiler. Once smooth and removed from the heat, stir in the coconut milk. It should be creamy and slightly thick with a fudge like texture.
Pour the warm chocolate mixture over your strawberries and gently spread it out with a spatula or spoon making sure it gets in all the cracks and corners between the strawberries. Add more thinly sliced strawberries on top and finish with a sprinkle of flaky sea salt.
Freeze for a few hours until firm. Slice into squares, and store in the freezer for a cold, creamy chocolatey fudge treat anytime!
