Ingredients
1-2chunks of fresh ginger
⅔cupwater or organic natural coconut water
2-3mint leaves (optional)
juice of one lemon
1tspcayenne pepper
1tspblack pepper
1-2tspturmeric spice
1-2tspliquid honey (optional for sweetness)
Instructions
In your handheld food processor or blender place a chunk of ginger (you may need to break it up into smaller pieces), and add your water or coconut water, mint leaves, and lemon juice and blend until all combined.
Run this thick mixture through a webbed strainer or cheesecloth and strain out all the liquid. You may need to repeat these two steps depending on how many ginger shots you want to fill.
Once you have your desired amount of ginger juice made and strained, you can now add your cayenne pepper, black pepper, honey and turmeric and mix altogether.
Now pour this into your chosen jars, glasses or containers and store them in the fridge for the week ahead! (leave enough room at the top that you will be able to give them a little shake)
