Ingredients

The Granola

  • 1 cup almonds
  • 1 cup walnuts
  • 1 cup flakey coconut
  • ½ cup cashews
  • ½ cup sliced almonds
  • ½ cup pumpkin seeds
  • cup macadamia nuts
  • 1 cup puffed quinoa

Cinnamon Maple Coating

  • 1 cup coconut oil
  • ¼ cup almond butter
  • ½ cup maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp sea salt sprinkle more on top before/after the oven
  • 2 tsp vanilla

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375 degrees. Start by combing all your nuts and seeds together in one large bowl
  • In a small sauce pan over medium heat add your coconut oil, almond butter, sea salt, and half of your cinnamon. Allow this to simmer together for 5 minutes! When it is off the heat, add the rest of the cinnamon to deepen the flavour, and your maple syrup as well as your vanilla!
  • Pour the cinnamon maple coating over your bowl of nuts and seeds and mix until it’s fully coated!
  • Line a baking sheet and spread this out evenly, I always add a dash of sea salt on top
  • Bake in the oven for 15 minutes until just golden brown! Always checking it because it burns easily, I check every 5 minutes! Store in freezer for best keeping!
