These chai churro mini donuts are a mini donut copy cat, only better for you and have a delicious chai twist! Coated in a chai cinnamon coconut sugar and each bite is filled with a light, fluffy and airy donut! I am in love with these!

Ingredients
Wet Ingredients
2tbspapple sauce or 1 egg
1tbspmelted coconut oil
¼cupalmond milk
¼cupcoconut sugar
½cup apple cider vinegar leave out of wet ingredients at start
Dry Ingredients
½cupoat flour
½cupwhole wheat flour
½tspbaking soda
¼tspbaking powder
splashofvanila
dashofsea salt
Chai Spice
2tspcinnamon
1tspginger
½tspground cloves
½tspcardamon
¼tspnutmeg
Cinnamon Chai Coconut Sugar Coating
coconut sugar
generous amount of cinnamon
dash ofground cloves of cardamon
melted coconut oil for dipping
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°. Mix your dry ingredients together including your chai spice blend (or your desired spices), and mix your wet ingredients together making sure to leave out your apple cider vinegar!
Add your dry ingredients to your wet ingredients and slightly mix together
Now add your apple cider vinegar and mix until a wet batter is formed! You will see air bubbles, that's a sign of light and fluffy donuts!
Fill a piping bag with the batter or do your best to evenly fill your donut mold baking sheet! Place in the oven and bake for 12-15 minutes! I take mine out right at 12 minutes!
Once they have slightly cooled, dip each donut in melted coconut oil, then the cinnamon chai sugar coating, flipping them a few times to get an even sugar coating! Voila!
