Winter Fashion is Here!

Winter fashion is here!!! Eeeeeek!! I love winter fashion for so many reasons and I just wanted to pop on here to share some cute photos that make me excited for Christmas, snow and of course, fashion for this season! December is one of my favourite months of the year, it always has been! Winter fashion obviously means oversized coats, lots of layers, cute mitts & toques, boots, and pretty much any fashion accessory for the winter and snowy season! This past weekend we went to go pick out our Christmas tree and I couldn’t help but get inspired for Christmas/winter content and I can’t wait to share cute outfits, and of course all the Christmas baking… so keep an eye out for all that babes! Okay anyways back to this fashion look, in the winter season there are three things that I love to incorporate into my looks and I’ll share those with you below along with some cute pictures from the Christmas tree farm! The trees were stunning and they smelt so incredible… there’s just something about real Christmas trees I swear it’s magical!

Oversized Coats

You guys know by know that I love the oversized look, and in the winter season it’s just the best because you can do so many layers! This oversized beige trench coat is from Zara! I got it a few years back and I’m in love with it! Zara has the best selection of coats in the fall/winter season! It’s usually where I go to check for cute styles of oversized coats and trenches! This one fits really big haha, I didn’t mean for it to be this big but it actually kinda works! I usually have more layers under it but for this outfit I wanted just a simple plain white tee shirt to match the white belt! I thought it looked so beautiful up against the Christmas trees! Aren’t the trees so beautiful! I am so excited to decorate this year!

Bold Boots

I love a good pair of chunky bold boots… I may or may not have a few pairs too many! They can totally elevate your look and in the winter you have every excuse ever to wear them and add a new pair to your collection! I usually go straight to black bold boots, but there are so many cute colours and trends you can get inspired by! I love that these ones are unique in the fact that they have a shinny toe, then the rest of the material is a softer fabric creating a two toned look! It’s eye catching I find and I love the detail it adds to the look! They are the perfect bold, black boot for winter!

Accessories

You already knew this one haha! Accessories, duh I know! But how can I not talk about accessories in the winter season! Theres just too many not to talk about it! From the scarves, to the mitts & toques, faux fur hats… theres just so much room to play with added detail! It has to be one of the main reasons why I love winter fashion! It’s so easy to incorporate cute details into your looks in the winter season to help elevate your outfits because you can effortlessly add in those accessory components! Some of my favourites are faux fur hats, matching toques & mitts, maybe a velour scarf, omg earmuffs!! Last year I made THE cutest faux fur tote bag, it’s still one of my favourite winter accessories! You can make yourself one too, I made a blog for it here for you! In this look, I kept it fairly simple with this textured mini purse, but you can expect me to go all out with winter accessories in other looks lol… I promise!

I hope that I’m not the only one THIS excited about winter fashion… or the month of December for that matter! I can’t wait to share more holiday/winter content with you guys!
