Parachute pants have been a huge trend in the fashion world over the past two years, and still seem to be making quite the showcase in todays world of street wear! Pairing parachute pants into one of your looks can be chic, trendy and of course fun! In todays fashion post I’m going to share with you how I style and pair parachute pants into my daily looks and some of my top picks, because the styles and options out there are seemingly endless! I fell in love with parachute pants two years ago when I decided to style my first pair, and now they have become a staple piece for me! Parachute pants are a bolder look, but don’t worry if you don’t typically go for the bolder styles when it comes to your wardrobe because parachute pants are actually incredibly easy to wear and there are many ways to style them! They are the perfect piece to start to pair into your outfits if you want to really create some new vibes and silhouettes in your everyday looks! In this look I paired a classic white pair of parachute pants with a chunky boot and an oversized jean jacket! I was going for casual street style vibes, and plus I just love a chunky boot! Under the jean jacket I have on the Aritzia Butter Half Zip! I don’t really know how this look came together! I was looking for an oversized piece to go over the half zip, and the jean jacket was calling my name! My other option was an oversized black blazer! I always wore this similar look to a coffee shop date, just paired them with an oversized black turtle neck and the same boots! See what I mean when I say that parachute pants are so versatile, and easy to throw on! Especially when it comes to those baggy looks! I linked everything I’m wearing, and some similar options!

When it comes to actually pairing a pair of parachute pants into a look, know that theres lots of room to play! You can carry on the oversized and baggy look throughout or you can create some contrast and go bigger on the bottoms and smaller on the top! I’m getting into those details and my inspirations on how I like to style and pair them in with my looks below! This style of pants have definitely become a staple in my wardrobe for many reasons, you guys their so comfy to wear and honestly such a fun vibe! I have them in so many colours and shades now too! I love to create fun looks with them, and use colour and contrast!

Since this pant already in itself is bound to make a statement, you can easily play around with colours and shades when it comes to styling them! You can go for a monochrome look, and go all black or all white, or you can throw in a fun colour like a hot pink parachute pant! I styled my pink parachute pants here in this look! I have quite a few styles and colours when it comes to my parachute pant collection. I have a beautiful lilac colour, hot pink, white and black! I’m seriously wanting to get my hands on a dark mocha/coffee brown pair! The more colours the better I find! It keep me inspired and is quite fun when styling these pants! How fun would a full pink monochromatic look be?! So cute! Especially in the spring/summer!

Since these pants really offer an exaggerated silhouette, with drawstrings at the waist and ankles, they allow you to create some really cool contrasts when it comes to proportions! This meaning that you can balance the baggy look with a smaller top to create a nice proportioned look! Or you can go all out with the baggy, and play with something oversized up top as well! My favourite way to style parachute pants is probably with the full on oversized look! You know I love a good baggy fit! I love to pair my parachute pants with a chunky oversized sweater, or a trench coat! This really creates a seamless look from head to toe because the silhouette is flow-ey and spacey all the way down! Or like I mentioned before, pairing them with a cute crop top or corset top is also very chic, and really allows the parachute pants to shine and be front and centre!
