Making The Perfect Green Açaí Bowl
People always ask me how I get the perfect consistency on my smoothie bowls, and there are two tricks I follow when it comes to getting the perfectly thick smoothie! The texture of your smoothie makes a difference I swear! Mine HAVE to be thick and creamy otherwise it’s just not the same! Plus when it comes to created that perfect Açaí Bowl, you want it to be thick so it holds all your toppings beautifully! Here’s my top two hack to getting the perfect smoothie bowl consistently:
- FROZEN BANANA
- this makes for the most creamy smoothie ever and helps create a thick consistency, I always try to add about 1/2 of a banana to my smoothie and it makes such a difference when trying to get it thick and creamy at the same time!
- SMALL AMOUNT OF WATER/MILK
- this is one common mistake most people make, too much liquid! Too much liquid creates a runny smoothie, and takes away the thickness the frozen fruit have to offer! Start with a small amount of water or milk, enough to make sure it blends, and watch to see how it keeps a thick consistency! You can always add more if you need but once you add it you can’t go back!!
Those are my top two tips to creating the perfect smoothie bowl, and each time my smoothie bowls come out perfect! It’s just so satisfying!! Start by adding all your ingredients to your blender and add your water or milk little by little! Now the best part… I like to call this part decorating, add all your favourite toppings in any way you desire! I love to make mine look beautiful and aesthetic!! I like to do a banana slide, classic I know, some hemp seeds, and mu favourite granola! I even added some dried rose petals on this one to elevate it even more! I’m obsessed!! You can add strawberries, any of your favourite fruit, peanut butter, blueberries, the list goes on!! I’ve also shared my Pink Raspberry Smoothie Bowl with you here! It’s also just as dreamy! This Green Açaí Bowl tastes exactly like something you would have in Bali, or Hawaii, it’s soooo tropical and dreamy! I can’t wait for you to try this combination! You will feel so good from the inside out!
Love you, e

Green Açaí Bowl
Ingredients
- 1 cup frozen mango
- 1 cup frozen pineapple
- ½ frozen banana
- 1 cup packed spinach or greens
- ⅓ cup greek yogurt
- 1-2 tbsp almond butter
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 scoop protein powder
- ¼ cup filtered water or milk start by adding a little to keep thickness
Instructions
- Add all your ingredients to your blender, start by adding little amounts of your water or milk at a time! This is key to a thick and creamy smoothie bowl, the amount you need will depend on the power of your blender!
- Once your smoothie is fully blended, pour it into your bowl and place it into the freezer if you have not yet prepared your toppings! This will keep your smoothie from liquifying while we prep the toppings!
- Top with whatever you desire! My favourites are a banana, hemp seeds, sometimes strawberries and of course dried rose petals! Be creative!
