Chocolate Chip Protein Balls

These chocolate chip protein balls are so satisfying and the perfect little energy booster for anytime of the day, and also make for the perfect late night sweet treat when your sweet tooth kicks in! They’re made with wholesome, nourishing ingredients and I promise you, they don’t disappoint! They remind me so much of cookie dough before you bake your cookies… but this time you actually get to eat it! I love to make a batch of these chocolate chip protein balls when we are going away on road trip to pack with us! They’re also perfect to take on a hikes because they give you a great boost of energy and are great fuel when your on the go! But I’ll be honest, the majority of the time when I go to make these its because I love to have a batch on them in the freezer for when my sweet tooth kicks in…. they taste like cookie dough how could you not want a batch of these in your freezer!!! I love how nourishing, yet satisfying these chocolate chip protein balls are! Let’s make them!

Chocolate chip protein balls

peanut butter or nut butter of preference

almond flour

ground flax or hemp seeds

honey or maple syrup

protein powder

cinnamon

sea salt

Making the Chocolate Chip Protein Balls

Another great thing about these Chocolate chip protein balls is how easy and quick they are to whip up! They literally take 1 minute once you have all your ingredients out! Since these are great for in the morning or any time your body or mind needs a quick boost of energy, I make sure to add in my Awaken Mushroom Blend from Eversio, this is one of my all time favourite blends! It helps with immunity, brain function and over all energy for the day which is why it is the perfect blend for these babies! I start by mixing my peanut butter and honey together, then I add in everything else and at the end I mix in the cacao nibs and the chocolate chips (the best part)!!! If you perfect them sweeter you can add in more honey or maple syrup! I find this amount just right! Once you have your dough, roll them into your desires sized balls and store them in the fridge or freezer! I like to keep mine in the freezer!

I mean come on…. It even looks like cookie dough!! These chocolate chip protein balls are sooo divine I can’t wait for you to take a bite of your own! You will definitely become addicted like me!! I always have a batch ready to go in the freezer!

An energy boosting protein ball that tastes just like cookie dough, only you can actually eat it and allow it to nourish you! These are perfect for any busy morning or to give you the boost you need throughout your day, or for when that sweet tooth kicks in!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup 100 % natural peanut butter sub your preferred nut butter
  • 3-4 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • cup ground flax or hemp seeds
  • 1 scoop protein powder i like hemp protein powder
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 sprinkle sea salt

ADDS INS

  • 3 tbsp cacao nibs
  • cup dark chocolate chips or chunks

Instructions

  • Start by mixing your peanut butter and honey together, now add in all the other ingredients
  • Lastly add in your cacao nibs and your dark chocolate chips
  • Roll into your desired sized balls, and store in fridge or freezer!
