I am so excited to share this with you guys! I have been doing my hair and falling in love with hairstyling for as long as I can remember! I think it’s so fun to try out new styles and get inspired by different looks and try them on myself. I know a lot of people don’t love or have a lot of time to do their hair but these hairstyles are quick, easy, and some of my go to’s for everyday looks! The hairstyles I have chosen to share have been the ones I always seem to go back to and I LOVE them! These chic, trendy, & easy hairstyles will take your look to the next level but still look authentic and bold! I have broken them down into different categories so you can choose what most resonates with you and your style and go from there!

Chic Headbands & Wraps
I love headbands, tight wraps or bandanas! This is probably one of the easiest ways to elevate your hairstyle and overall look any day of the week! You can find pretty much any colour out there and make it work with the rest of your outfit! This is so easy to add to your hair and doesn’t actually require any extra styling time! When I wear these I love to somehow tie the colour of the headband or wrap in with my outfit!
Trendy Clips & Barretts
Next is one of my favourites, well actually they are all my favourites but this one is really fun! If you are new to trying out hairstyles or adding in hair accessories this is a great way to start and is actually how I first got started with hair accessories. It is the perfect little accessory to your hair and adds great detail to your overall look, and plus its cute! The clips or barrettes don’t have to be big or super shiny or too fancy, I like to keep it simple, cute but casual for some added style. There are seriously so many styles of clips, claw clips, and clasps out there you can easily find something you absolutely love! Trust me I have found a lot haha and have quite the collection!
Look one (above) is fun, I place two small identical clips on either side of my part and slightly pull back the hair going parallel to the arch of my eyebrow. It is the same concept for look two (below) but I used barrettes instead, which are also insanely cute. I find the barrettes chicer and the clips a bit more fun & cute!
Easy Claw Clips
This is a very well-known and popular way to style your hair because one, it’s insanely easy and two, these clips are really fun and look super cute and aesthetic in your hair! I for one have a HUGE collection of claw clips and have found you can never have too many. They come in all sorts of styles, sizes and colours so again there will definitely be something you love! I usually wear mine in one of two ways shown in the pictures! I love claw clips because you can carry them with you throughout the day, and it makes it really easy to throw your hair back!
Trendy Braid Looks
I have to give my mother dearest credit here because she can braid hair so well it’s like impressive! I’m still learning how to braid really well but braids are sooooooo cool and there is so much you can do with them. Braids are amazing because they will for sure keep your hair out of your face all day and they look great and eye-catching while doing so! French braids, dutch braids, all of the styles, can be made really cute and authentic when styling your hair. I love to have fun with braids since it’s not something I do frequently, so my go-to look is this one, middle parted with both sides braided backwards but on the outside so you can still see the braid even though it’s french style.
Easy Half up Half down
This one is fun, kinda girlie and cute! To me, it is like the more sophisticated and mature version of piggy-tails, and pigtails are seriously one of the cutest hairstyles out there when your little haha so I think it still works to show off your cute face! The trick to this style is to get your hair parted as good as you can and make sure the hair you pull back is even on both sides. I use a styling comb to pull back all the baby hairs that are around my face and small elastics to keep it easy and simple and minimal!
Sleek Low Ponytail or Bubble Braid
These two looks are really simple and low maintenance. A sleeked-back low pony is great with straight or curly hair and especially one I will do on a busy morning. If you want to take your low pony to the next level for a little bit more fun I love the bubbled look. You simply just place small elastics evenly throughout your ponytail and once you are done pull each section out slightly creating a bigger bubble! I think it’s super fun, haha and you don’t see it as often as some of the other looks which are also why I love it.
Chic & Trendy Low Bun
This sleek low bun look is something I have been doing for so long, and it will continue to be a style I always go back to because it’s so chic and is so versatile. It can be dressed up and down and is probably the easiest way to get a fancy elegant look in such a short amount of time. I wear this for early morning workouts, busy errand days, fancier occasions and with everyday outfit looks. When I say it is easy I am not kidding. All I do is use a styling comb (tight small hard bristles) to part and sweep back my hair and firstly tie it in a low ponytail. Then I twist the ponytail tightly, then start to wrap it around the elastic holding the ponytail and use another elastic to hold the twisted bun in place. Voila, GORGEOUS.
Classic High Pony
Okay last but definitely not least is the unforgettable classic high pony look. I always get so excited to do this because it makes you feel like a literal QUEEN. With all your hair sleeked back into a high pony, it just feels so good, I don’t know what it is ok lol. If you know, you know. It can be done with curly or straight hair and looks so good either way. When you do curly hair as I did below it really shows off your curls and gives you some extra volume which I loveeeeeeee!
