Oh my gosh I am so excited to write this blog today! If there is one thing I love more than clothes it’s fall, mostly still because of the clothes lol! I’m seriously obsessed and I mean obsessed with fall fashion you guys! The layers, the colours, the patterns you can incorporate into your outfits are endless and it’s so much fun for me! You guys know I love to add depth and layers to my outfits and fall makes it so easy to do that with the colder weather and all the different pieces of clothing you wear! Each year my style slightly changes or evolves and I’m always into a different trend or found something new I love, but I thought I would share what my current favourite fall fashions trends are for this season! It will be fun to look back and see what I’m still loving or what has changed! I put together a few outfits so let’s get into this seasons fall fashion my babes! My Favourite Fall Fashion Trends
Oversized Trousers
Okay yes! I am loving the look of baggy or oversized trousers! I recently ordered a pair of oversized ‘mens’ styled trousers and I love them! They are the black ones I am wearing here! I am short haha so they are extra long and big on me but I am fine with that look! What’s great about this type of pant is all the different ways you can style these! You can go for a tighter top or shorter coat to show off the style of the pants or can go for a looser outfit to flow with the pants and go for the baggy sweater fall look, which I love too! ugh these pants are just too good! I think this trend will be with me for a while… what do you think?
Accessories As Always
Pretty much every fashion post I make I know I always mention accessories, this is because accessories are really what pulls your outfit all together, even if its just small things like gold jewelry or a hair clip! They add in dimension, and you can use accessories or small details to pull together colours throughout your outfit! My favourite accessories in fall are probably belts, bags, hats, and of course gold jewellery but that’s all season round haha! Whether it’s a bag, a hair clip, a scarf, a cute hat, I love love love accessories especially in fall! A fuzzy bucket hat, or a textured or fluffy hand bag to add in some depth is the perfect way to finish your fall looks!
Textured Sweaters Trend
Obviously you know I am going to be talking about sweaters because duhhh, fall fashion!! Turtlenecks, oversized sweaters, boyfriend sweaters, tunics, there are just so many different types! Sweater season in the fall is endless, and so are all the different types of styles and looks you can go for! This fall I have been really drawn to sweaters or tops that have a very visible texture to them! I’m so drawn to unique fabrics and the feeling of them, or the actual pattern and texture incorporated into the sweater! This could be the lines, bumps that run though the fabric or anything that again adds some more depth and dimension to the sweater itself! These two cream sweaters are some of my favourites from last season, and I still adore them because of their texture! I know the brown sweater is more of a top, but it still mocks the sweater look, and I’m in love with the texture and pattern it has, it just brings so much flare to the outfit!
Beiges & Browns for Fall
I’m saving my favourite fall fashion trend for last, and that is of course the colour pallet of browns and beiges! This outfits were inspired by a brown and beige colour combination and I used contrast by using two different shades of brown! I love how the beige top and the brown in the checkered handbag flow together to create an overarching brown theme, it’s so perfect for fall! When I think of fall leaves and fall the weather, I think of browns and beiges because it all looks so aesthetic and gorgeous together! This was the perfect fall outfit for me, and I’m feeling so inspired with fall fashion this year! I also have to talk about the sleeves on this beige top, I mean look at that flare…. it’s so cute I can’t even!
