This design marks Design No. 01 of my new signature sewing series, SEW CHIC — an atelier‑inspired collection where creativity meets couture, and thoughtful design, sewing, and stitching are transformed into style statements. It’s about the art of sewing elevated to something aspirational: feminine, editorial, and endlessly chic. Each piece is designed to be as functional as it is fashionable

The Vision

La Peluche began as a simple idea: my dream makeup bag. Something plush, faux fur, elevated, and intentional — a piece that feels as beautiful on your counter as it does in your hands.

Soft plush ivory faux fur, a boxed yet gentle silhouette, and a wide opening designed to actually hold everything. Functional, yes — but never at the expense of beauty.

This series is rooted in the belief that everyday pieces deserve the same care and consideration as statement fashion. The little things matter. The details matter & the fact that I get to design it… even better!!

The Design & The Name

La Peluche features:

Plush ivory faux fur exterior

Soft‑structured, boxed silhouette

Double‑facing zipper with a wide opening

Thoughtful proportions for both beauty and function

Every element was designed intentionally — not just how it looks, but how it feels to use.

And yes… she has a name.

La Peluche translates to “the plush toy,” in french a nod to the softness of the fabric and the idea that this is my kind of toy — chic, tactile, and a little indulgent. It’s simply luxurious.

SEW CHIC: The Series

SEW CHIC is my ongoing sewing series where I’ll be sharing original designs from concept to completion. Sketches to stitches. While not every post will be a full tutorial, each design will live here as part of the collection — documenting the vision, the materials, and the finished piece.
